Mons. Timothy Verdon

Mons. Timothy Verdon is an art historian (PhD, Yale University) and directs the Diocesan Office of Sacred Art and Church Cultural Heritage in Florence, and the Cathedral Foundation Museum (Museo dell’Opera di Santa Maria del Fiore). The author of many books and articles, he has been a Consultant to the Vatican Commission for Church Cultural Heritage, a Fellow of the Harvard University Center for Italian Renaissance Studies, and currently teaches in the Florence Program of Stanford University. Mons.Verdon is a Canon of the Cathedral, the Director of the Florence Archdiocese Center for Ecumenism, and the Academic Director of the Mount Tabor Centre for Art and Spirituality.

Martin Shannon, CJ

Fr. Martin Shannon is a liturgist (PhD, Catholic University of America), and author of various books and articles on scripture and spirituality. He is also an Episcopal priest, and the director of formation at the ecumenical Benedictine Community of Jesus on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, where he lives with his wife and grown children. He is the Program Director of the Mount Tabor Ecumenical Centre for Art and Spirituality.
